About the section
The section for Proton Conductors is a research section in the Department of Energy Conversion and Storage. We are approximately 25 people and a number of students on different levels.
The Section is headed by Associate Professor Jens Oluf Jensen.
We share a building with DTU Chemistry at DTU Lyngby Campus (see below), were we have offices and research facilities.
DTU Chemistry's activities on Fuel Cells and Energy, located in the Energy and Materials Science group, was transferred to the new Department of Energy Conversion and Storage on the 1st of January 2012, thereby creating The Section for Proton Conductors.
All personnel and projects were transferred at the same time and the activities continue.
We are located at the Lyngby campus of the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in Building 207 on Kemitorvet. The DTU Campus is located outside Lyngby, 16 km from the center of Copenhagen. The campus is divided into four quadrants, where we are located in the 2. quadrant. You can get to the Lyngby campus by car or public transportation.
